Blood Donation camp was organized by Ashwini Hospital on 07-03-2020, in association with Red Cross. More than 75 Volunteers donated blood in this camp.
Free Health screen camp at Tumkur on 29-Feb-2020
Team ASHWINI organized Free Health screen camp for Karnataka Reserve Police Force office cortex circle (old women prisoners’ office) on 29-02-2020. More than 130 cases were screened and free medicines were distributed in the camp.

Madya Parivarjana Shibira – De addiction camp
De addiction camp was organized in association with Dharmasthala Gramabhivridhi Yojana at Ashwini Hospital lead by Dr. Prakash S.Paltye of Dept. of Panchakarma. Alcohol addicts were admitted in hospital for one week and were subjected to yoga therapy, Meditation, Psychiatric and Family health care counseling, series of talk on Affect of Alcohol addiction on Health, Family and Social Life. This camp helped nearly 100’s of alcohol addicts to rehabilitate and bring them back to main stream of society
Eye checkup camp organized in Attimabbe higher primary School, Tumakuru
Eye is an important organ of Vision. Early detection of problems related to eye are vital for giving effective treatment. With intention of creating awareness about importance of vision to school going children Eye check up camp was organized in Attimabbe Higher Primary School and High School, Chikkapet Tumkur on 04 & 05 /01/2019. The camp was conducted by Dr. Nagaraja J.M., Dr. Suja Shridhar and Team. Talk on Vision and importance of Early detection of Ocular diseases was delivered followed by interactive session was conducted. More than 400 students were screened and given advice regarding eye care

Beat Plastic Pollution
On occasion of World Environment Day, “Beat Plastic Pollution”, “Go green” and “Plant Tree save earth” programmes were organized by Dept. of Dravyaguna lead by Dr.Deepa Nagaraja. The programme highlighted the dangers of plastic pollution, its affect on earth, ocean, animals and humans. Awareness on importance of growing plants and how the plants help to purify environment was demonstrated. Nearly 50 plants were donated to Marlur Higher primary School where students actively participated in plantation

Dr. K. G. Raghavendra is Chairman of Aruna Educational Trust. A visionary educationist, social entrepreneur and ENT surgeon by profession. Born on 27-03-1956 in Kundapur, completed M.B.B.S. from JNMC Belgaum in 1981 and DLO from BMC in 1984. He started Aruna Hospital in 1987 with aim of providing a quality health care and service to the needy patients. He established Aruna Educational trust in 1997. In 2004 Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical College came into existence followed by in 2013 it was recognized as P.G. research Centre having 7 P.G. departments. Dr. H. M. Harisha was born on 17-08-1974 in Kottur, Bellary. Completed his B.A.M.S. from T.M.A.E.’S Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospet in 1999. He did M.D. in Kayachikitsa from Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya Hubli in 2004.Started academic career as Lecturer in 2004 in Dept. of Kayachikitsa. Currently working as Principal in Ashwini Ayurvedic Medical College and as C.M.O. in Ashwini Hospital since 2014
Dr. Mamatha H.M. was born on 03-01-1975 in Kottur, Bellary. Completed B.A.M.S. from.A.E.A.’S Ayurvedic Medical College, Davangere in 1998 and M.S. in Shalya Tantra from Govt. Ayurvedic Medical College, Bangalore in 2001.Started academic career as Lecturer in Dept. of Shalyatantra . Currently working as Professor and H.O.D. in Dept. of Shalya Tantra. Since 2016 she is working as Medical Superintendent in Ashwini Hospital and under her able guidance hospital is actively conducting various camps, awareness programs
